AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED Class Overview – John Knox Presbyterian Church
The American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR class is designed for anyone with no previous medical experience to learn life-saving CPR! Individuals who complete this course will receive an AHA certification eCard that will be valid for two years. The AHA HeartSaver CPR training class includes: how and when to administer CPR, use of an AED, and choking relief for adults, children, infants.
The class includes instructional video from the American Heart Association and hands on practice led by your instructor. Our mission is to instill confidence in our students to administer CPR in real life emergencies. Students will be tested on their hands on skills, but there is NO written examination required for this course.

During this class, students will learn how to recognize life threatening emergencies and respond accordingly. The AHA HeartSaver CPR class includes: how and when to administer CPR, use of an AED, and choking relief for adults, children, infants.
*This class meets Indiana Department of Education CPR and AED certification requirements for school teachers.
