American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR, AED, Relief of Choking + Optional First Aid Skills Check
This blended learning skills check session is designed for individuals with little or no medical training. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies, including CPR, AED use, and relief of choking for adults, children, and infants.
Completion of the Heartsaver online course is required prior to the in-person skills check. The online course must be purchased separately from the American Heart Association. After registering, you will receive an email with a direct link to purchase the required online portion.
Three course options are available:

CPR, AED, and Relief of Choking (no First Aid)

CPR, AED, and Relief of Choking + Basic First Aid

CPR, AED, and Relief of Choking + Total First Aid
Certification is issued upon successful completion of both the online course and skills check.

*This class meets Indiana Department of Education CPR and AED certification requirements for school teachers.
